The Problem
I exceeded my monthly spending and had no clear visibility into where my money was going.
The Observation
I noticed my bank sent me an email every time I made a payment. Data was already there — just unused.
The Solution
Built an automated tracker that logs all my "regrets" (transactions), uses AI to give daily & monthly insights via cron jobs, analyzes spending patterns, and — my favorite part — humorously roasts me for excessive spending.
This is how I approach every project — identify the pain point, find the data, build the solution. Simple problems deserve elegant solutions.
